What Shortscuts Studio does

Shortscuts Studio helps users upload videos, detect silences, filler sounds and awkward pauses, generate transcripts, suggested cuts, summaries or highlights, previews and exported videos.

Data we process

• Account information such as your email address, user id and profile details you provide.
• Uploaded video files that you choose to process with the service.
• Generated audio or video derivatives, previews, rendered exports and related processing outputs.
• Transcripts, edited transcripts, translations and subtitle files generated from your videos.
• Cut segments, project settings, project metadata and processing status.
• Payment and subscription status received from our payment provider.
• Basic technical information such as logs, browser/device information, IP address and security events when collected by our infrastructure or service providers.

AI and automated processing

Uploaded content may be processed by automated tools and AI services to generate transcripts, detect cuts, create summaries or highlights, and support editing features. Do not upload content you do not have the right to process, and avoid uploading highly sensitive personal content unless it is necessary for your use of the service.

Storage

Shortscuts Studio is designed to automatically delete uploaded videos and generated outputs after the project retention period, currently 3 days after upload or download activity. Deletion is permanent. Project records and metadata may remain in your dashboard until the project is deleted or expires.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database, private file storage, video processing infrastructure, AI or transcription features, payments, and operational tooling such as error logging or security monitoring. These providers process information only as needed to support the service.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the videos you upload. You must have the necessary rights and permissions, must not upload unlawful content, and should avoid uploading sensitive personal data unless necessary.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict certain uses of your personal information. Contact us if you want to make a privacy request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including private storage and account-based access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Shortscuts Studio is not intended for children or minors without appropriate consent from a parent, guardian or other authorized adult.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above.

Payment processing

Payments and subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Shortscuts Studio does not store your full credit card details on its own servers. Payment information you enter during checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy and is subject to their payment, privacy, and security practices.
